Hello All,
Today I pulled the trigger and purchased a lightly used '13 white Super Tenere with 436 miles on it. It will replace the '09 Triumph Speed Triple I now have for sale. It is 100% bone stock so will need to be farkled for better touring.
I'm a long time Yamaha fan whose's owned a 2001 RoadStar Silverado, 2004 FJR and now a 2013 FJR. I looked and and rode the Triumph Explorer prior to settling on the Yamaha. I felt the Super Tenere was the best balance of performance, quality and value. I also LOVED the look of the white!
I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can about this bike and to make it a great one-up touring machine. I'm also looking forward to learning about great riding opportunities around my neck of the woods. And if this forum is as good as some of my friends on fjrforum.com say it is, then I'll have available some of the best advise possible.
