Ok Folks, First know that I am not affiliated with Micatech in any way. I have no profit gain in this group buy. I think these bags are the best out there period. This group buy will end after we get the needed 10 names, or 2/28/11 or when the manufacturer wants it to end. I am simply offering a way to get a discount.

$75.00 off the price if we get 10 people to commit to buying these. That's 2 bags or more, which will include the mounting hardware as per their web site. You will send me your name, email, phone number to PM, once I get at least 10 names, I will send you the code. You will then be able to order the bags on their web site or by phone. The cases will ship in March and April, plenty of time to get them ahead of our "May" arrival date.

What's chances of getting a photo (or photoshop) of the V2's on a SuperT???

My skills are limited to crude fabrications,twisted thoughts,and helping old ladies cross the street. I have no such skill sets. I know micatech is trying to get a photo of bags on the bike though. There are many similar bikes on their web site that may give some idea. The adjustments on these bags are the best I have seen on any bike. They use the SW Motech brackets as well.

This sounds like a deal - I might be in - so we get the V2's (one of each) and SW-MOTECH racks ? Correct? I would like to see a pic also - but I guess I can visualize : just one question to those that might know - on the V2 bags do the wifes feet have room? I see the V2's have multiple mount configs but I gotta ask.

How about hitting them up for $100 or more if we get to 15 or 20. I think 10 should be easy (I'm assuming this is for any model bike they make them for, correct?) Might as well shoot for a bitter discount if we really get a bunch together. The two 10" with racks total $990 so $75 off is about 7.6%. Would be nice to get at least 10%. There are a lot of vendors that give a flat 10% off to ADVriders without a group buy, so maybe they can shoot for that (at least with enough buyers).

Out of curiosity, did you approach and vendors about this? Or only the manufacturer? Twisted Throttle offered $100 off a set this summer. I was just on the Twisted Throttle website looking at the V2 last week. Now I can't recall the price and, strangely, all of the Micatech links no longer work on Twisted Throttle. Hopefully they are just revamping and nothing weird happened with their relationship with Micatech.

They have discounted the bags significantly prior to the group buy, and now on top of that they are willing to offer another 75.00 off. I contacted the manufacturer directly, there is no middle man involved. Being a big ticket item, and the economy being the way it is, I'd be happy to get 10 sales this early in the game. I don't think there are many people out there willing to part with that kind of money especially with the bike not even being here. I will however submit a request for a greater discount based on orders sold.

you can get any configuration that you choose, I am getting asymmetrical bags, yes the racks come with the set per their web site. As far as room goes, to my knowledge there is no super tenere with the V2 on them yet. But there is several points to adjust the bags, therefore I see no problems.

These are growing on me and since I can re-use my same Givi tail trunk from my FJR on the SuperT, I could easily go with the V2's.

So, to make sure I have this correct, for a pair of V2's WITH the discount, the price would be $895 for one each 37L and 45L AND SW-Motech racks. This is based on 10 units - but hopefully we can come up with more.

EDIT: Wow - just did a quick run-through on the Micatech website...... $102 shipping!!!!!!!

I would have a hard time swallowing this when I can get Givi Trekkers shipped free + a discount.
