Take good care and I hope for a quick and complete recovery. Really glad to hear it wasn't any worse, and thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the positive thoughts.

I look forward to healing, and hope to ride again.

We all know that our riding decisions are based on a risk : reward analysis. I'm painfully more aware of the risk, now. But, it's still one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. I just can't fathom not riding.

Thanks again,
Chris

hope you heal quickly. I've come close to doing the same thing, bad feeling but better than your experience for sure. part of my problem is my rubber neck, which is part of the reason that I ride in the first place...I really enjoy the scenery, the nicer the day, the more I look around. as it was said previously, it comes with the territory, wish it didn't tho...

I learned this week that the Bike is totaled. Not sure if that makes me happy or depressed.

Got the new and improved cast on my arm and wrist today. It's slowly healing. Hopefully, I'll begin therapy in 6 weeks, and may be "normal" by spring.

Thanks again,
Chris

chris, will you be getting another bike?
Possibly; haven't decided yet. The Tenere is still my favorite bike ever, and is the only new bike I'd consider, if so.

I have a 250 and a 650 in the garage to ease back into riding, in the spring. We'll see.

Man sorry to hear about this, it happens so fast, try not to beat yourself up over it. Work hard at pt and heal up fast. No need to rush your decision. Take your time, but stick around and let us know how your doing.

I don't like to read the beginning of this stories. I got in a bad one myself so I know the feeling all too well, I moved to other adventures for a while, but last year 2 wheels came in my garage again. Get well soon.
