Like TrueGrip, I am confused but albeit less ornery.

Is in "the future" parenthetical to "goodbye" or a just a ruse?

Just a bit lost on why you need to tell us goodbye but yet then continue to bicker with your forum adversary.
Fourm adversary.... I doubt he would be an adversary in person ;)

Goodbye is not instantaneous.

I'm confused (and ornery) Fred are you saying goodbye or see ya later?

My feelings are hurt if no comments how great those Tombstone clips are. The one at the end where Curly Bill says "Bye" is a classic!
Love that movie.

Wyatt Erp: "Just want you to know...it's over"
Curly Bill: "Well...bye"

Great stuff.

What was this thread about?

Boy, I'm glad I'm not a moderator anymore. Regardless of who you are, or what you think of the Forum ..... Let's all just be careful out there. Don't forget that any and all of you are welcome to share my little piece of ground on your way to or from Alaska. And let's all be kind to one another .... Don't make me have to come down there. R

Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. You were an AH when you arrived, you've always been an AH and you're one on the way out too. Here is a picture of a PM i Received from you. I never replied because I just considered you an AH.

AH certainly. But clearly someone who just doesn't get it.

Best to move along Fred. You just don't understand what we do here.

Never been a huge fan of Val Kilmer but I think he played the perfect part for Doc Holliday!

Forums can get a bit heated at times and one has to put the mouse down and walk away and or ease up on the keyboard.
The calmest forum I have ever bin on was the Triumph tiger 1050 forum, I don't think I have ever seen anything get to the point a member left.

adios muchacho!!

It is Val Kilmer's movie. Like him or not, he was fantastic in that role.

I was actually at Old Tucson Studios when they were shooting Tumbstone. They wouldn't let us past the gift shop that day, but I was close to it. It is still my favorite movie of all time.

I agree 100 percent: For me, Kilmer's take on Doc Holliday's character is one major factor in making that movie a classic.

I thought he stole the show as far as him acting the part, at this time in his career he did Thunder Heart he did well in that one as well.
Now from what I have read he has throat cancer. 8)

Michael Biehn playing the twitchy wiled eyed hot head Johnny Ringo was good as well.

Besides the Duel clip near the end I liked this one as well..

Okay, so we have some fans of Tombstone here. There are two glaring technical mistakes in the movie. What are they?

I cheated (Google) so I won't answer but there were lots of factual errors also. I'm a western fan I tease my daughter in law that the best movies have horses in them. Cowboys are still king in my book. I'd like to see Robert Duvall do another. Open Range was awesome and Annette Bening is the handsomest women I've ever seen :-*

For one, there are no trees in Tombstone. At least not like they show in the scene where Wyatt is horse back riding with the chic. Did a motorcycle trip there in June several years back, neat place to visit. But not in June....
