I see you deleted your posts.

Hope all is well, safe travels.
Thanks. All is good. Just done with the forum, it's mods and a handful of members... they are too sour and grim.
I'm guessing they come here and read posts when they are angry and just about anything pisses them off
and if you asks them what the time is they will tell you your wrong.

One weird thing.. for some reason people are way more friendly on super sports forums that on adventure bike forums....
Angry older men maybe..... I don't know.

Another member referred to a thread as if it were an old man pissing contest, but the winner would be who could piss first.

That said plenty of not angry, happy and enthusiastic "old men" here. They are the one's with the big smiles every time they
get on their bikes.

You always get the odd post that may be offensive to one or many. I suppose this happens in all forums - it's impossible to have thousands of members who agree on everything. However, I personally find this forum to be excellent in all respects - quality of posts, grammar used, information provided, etc. I've been on other forums where one or more of these variables fare rather poorly.

Fred, I wish you the best of luck. Ride safely.

Glad it is nothing serious.

Mods usually ruin most forums, I think we would be better off if they simply did clean up features and made sure the forum was running smoothly. Trouble is they always get involved in their special groups and moderate as such. Ruins em IMO which makes me limit which ones and how often I visit.

I doubt the Mods had anything to do with Fred saying goodbye. Two opinionated people (and we all are) didn't see eye to eye and one got his feelings hurt and said goodbye. That's how I see it if someone sees it differently you won't hurt my feelings.

Scott you crotchety old man you need to come to Ark ;D

Good luck and have fun riding your way Fred. Thanks for being responsible and removing all of your mis-information from the forum.

This is precisely the type of bullshit I will no longer waste my time with.

Riding since I was 14 on the streets of Europe (mainly Italy) and the US. One accident with no injuries when 15 due too correct evasive action, but this ass hat
claims I don't know a thing and shits on anything I post.

This is just silly, guys. This is an online forum for an adventure bike. This crap about who can be the bully of the sandbox is a bit much.

But if you are gonna go and leave - and have the narcissistic need to tell us you are gone to boot - then just go ahead and go without any fanfare.

Good god... most of us got past all this stuff somewhere around high school.

Also mods letting a vendor systematically shit on members posts because the vendor is a "site supporter".

Things got that way on a kitesurfing forum, however there they simply limited vendors and vendor "ambassadors" to commenting only in a vendor sub forum.
Cleaned things up in no time.

The last drop in the bucket was a mod deleting a complete thread. I had posted how I had successfully evaded a landslide right behind a blind curve.
I had posted a lot of details including photos, I had prepared a map and more stuff to add to the thread.
I live on Mulhiolland Highway and have seen many accidents due to even far smaller debris on the road.
I thought it would be very useful to post what worked.
The usual vendor comes along and shits on the thread and claims I know nothing.....

What did a moderator do? Goes and deletes the whole thread including a length detailed and documented first posting.

One would think that how to avoid this mess (basket ball sized rocks) right out of a curve and when your already on gravel
right out of the curve would be of value on an "Adventure Bike" forum.

Yes it is all rather silly. Just answering a few members questions and saying see ya later.

I'm confused (and ornery) Fred are you saying goodbye or see ya later?

My feelings are hurt if no comments how great those Tombstone clips are. The one at the end where Curly Bill says "Bye" is a classic!

I was using see ya later "sarcastically". I won't be posting here in the future.
