I actually spoke to Delkevic Uk yesterday about getting a 350mm stubby can, they no longer have it on their site or the French site, they suggested I look into getting the kit 'KIT 31CJ' which would get me the 350 can (14") and the link pipe with fittings............. BTW the end can is just a generic can to fit all bikes, it's the link pipe and hanging bracket that make it bike specific.
Very good to know. If you could post the link when you find the kit that would be great!

Topcop45, I got the impression that they would make the 'kit' up for me over the phone and send it out, my only reservation was that the end can is not 'E-marked' and so, if stopped in Switzerland would have to pay a hefty fine and inspected, all at a cost to me, so I will have to look at other options for now ::010::

Does anyone have a link for the 14" Stubby? I can't seem to find one anywhere. Thanks in advance
Odd, i got mine off ebay less than a month ago, now it doesn't show. The item number gives a message that the item was removed due to a listing error

I called Delkevic and spoke with Janielle. She said that due to the "possible" heat issue with the turn signal they removed the product. However, she said as long as I'm aware of the issue they would still sell me the product.

Someone complained that it melted his turn signal. I've had one for thousands of miles with no problem. However, if someone asked me to adjust the mount so as to melt the turn signal, I could do that. O:)

Just make sure you get and install the drop bracket :D

New turn signal should be here in a day or two. Good time to try to tone down the throttle return spring waiting for the latest snow/salt to disappear

Why not? All of those exhausts fit under the OEM heat shield, so I'm having trouble picturing how it would interfere with the bags. I'm asking because I'm considering the bags, adn I'm about to pull the trigger on that very exhaust.

Also, for anyone curious, I've had Delkevic cans on two other bikes, and they make an excellent product for short money. Not too loud either; definitely quieter, for example, than the Two Bros exhausts.

I agree with this. If it fits under the shield, how could it interfere with the oem cases?

Longer Delkevic exhaust

OK so I have the longer slip on, and it again, is coming closer to my signal lights, thank I would like. If I rotate it out, it is touching the heat shield on the bottom edge. I would like to lop one inch off the length. I have loosened and retightened a few times and it is better, but I would like to not melt the lights or side cover.

Any ideas?

Yes, I also rotated mine so it flows hot exhaust outward. I put two washers under the lower-front mounting hole for the exhaust shield and all is good. The shield is all plastic and has lots of flexibility.

    • Well I have played with this new can for a few hours over a couple days. I can not get the 18" to fit. I have loosened and moved things the best I can. When mounted tight to the bike, it gets close to the signal light. When I loosen and move the exhaust outward, it gets tight to the heat shield, and it hits the OEM bags, not where the cut out is on the bag, but higher up. It can not slide the bracket or mounting strap to raise or lower it to help much. My thoughts:
      • -Cut 1.5 inches off the muffler
      • -Drop the bracket hanger down lower
      • -Return the can and get a Yosh

The muffler has a nice quiet rasp at idle, and does not get loud with higher RPM's, I like the fit and finish of the kit as well. It should be plug and play but is not. Well for me anyways, and I have installed slip ons on two other bikes, but do not pretend to be an expert.

Just curious... Why did you buy the 18" can? Mine is 14". Will they exchange the 18 for a 14?

there is many possible ways to mount these. With the angle of the extension you can raise and lower the outlet by a few inches. I chose to match the angle of the rear subframe, and remove the OEM turn signals. If your outlet is at the bottom of the turn signal, which compared to my 14" it should be, I don't see how your signal would melt.mine melted due to the hot gasses, not because it was near something radiating heat.

They only offered 18" in their online store, Amazon and EBay, not sure why they stopped.

I am getting sick of peeling stuff off and replacing it, but will do it one more time. They were great at answering questions before the sale, but have been slow to reply at all now that I have the can and have problems with it. Sigh.

Just a question, as I have no 1st hand knowledge, does the manufacturer offer a turned down tip? I think a call to the manufacturer could answer the question. If the maker can not supply the turn down I would think any good muffler-tailpipe shop could fab one quickly.

Good Luck
