It's too bad none of the others fit the area. They are all at the wrong angle and don't look nice. I really wanted that one, and now they pulled them. Grrr

I agree, I really liked the 14" round carbon. The 17 and 18" both look like they were designed for another bike and slapped on haphazardly.

Right, I have a 14 spec> bike, new back in June of this year. Having spent ALL available cash on the bike, the farkle pot was pretty empty. I bought a shorter 350mm round can, the bike was whisper quiet and as a guzzi man I found this un-cool, as I had the removeable Givi quick release pannier rails and wasn't sure if the outlet would foul the rail bridge as it crosses the back of the bike. A few weeks after fitting it the rear mudguard and reg plated were clearly melted as a result of the can installation.
LONG story short, they collected the bike, replaced the mudguard and plate and fitted the tri-oval can that they had found best suited to the pannier setup on the bike. They said the rail was causing turbulence that deflected the heat into the rear mudguard, this was evident through thermal imaging they said. Im not sure if they will list the tri/oval can for the ten but it looks a treat.
I am pleased with the service, the quality of the pipe is very high given the reasonable price. I have pics I can post if needed. ::008::

This exhaust is very light. I had dinner plans with Mrs. 78yz so I did not get to inspect it closely. In fact, she is giving me the look as I am posting this in the restaurant. Stay tuned.

Crappy phone pics, this is the stubby can, I bought this as I was worried the full length one would foul the rail, Delkevich say the rail caused turbulence which caused the heat damage, will take some of the replacement tri-oval this morning. With the baffle in the sound is pretty mellow, its still pretty quiet with the baffle out in my opinion.

Good news. It is not loud with the baffle in. The fit and finish is excellent. It does not look like it will melt the turn signal but I did not get to ride the bike yet; just a short idle test.

As promised, here is a video of the exhaust at idle and slight throttle application. VIDEO In the video, I am inches from the exhaust.

It was in the 60s here so I took the bike for a 120 mile ride. The Delkevic sounds so much better than the stock anchor without being loud at all. During the ride, I got off the bike to take pictures three different times and left the bike running so the fan came on. The rear turn signal and reflector did not melt. In fact, they were not even warm.

As for power increases, it is hard to tell. My bike was flashed and that made a huge difference. It ran extremely well with the stock pipe and runs great with the new pipe. The bike sounds faster but I think that is deceiving. I have yet to run the bike without the removable insert. One has to believe the dyno chart Delkevic posted was without the baffle. I think that indicated a 2.5 hp increase over stock.

Overall, I am very pleased. The fit and finish is excellent, the pipe is much lighter, I like the sound and the price was half of what I expected to pay for a Yoshimura RS4.

Everything fit fine. After I finished my test ride, I did add two washers under the bottom mount of the shield because it looked close. Keep in mind there is some adjustability built into the mounting bracket and I mounted it low to avoid any problems with the turn signal. After closely monitoring this situation during the test ride, I think it can be raised some.

The new muffler is so much nicer looking than the stocker that I am considering cutting back the heat shield. I never ride with a passenger and the new pipe does not need to be covered.

Did all the cover panels fit back into place, or were modifications necessary?

I'd love to see a few photos of your install if you have the time to post. ::008::

I just ran out to the garage and took these. The installation was easy; took about 15 minutes. As mentioned earlier, the new pipe fit perfectly with a wide range of adjustment. The strap around the can be slid forward and aft to meet the bracket at various heights. Once you get the angle and height set, you tighten up the mounting bolts and everything is very solid. As mentioned earlier, I am confident I can raise the can higher without melting the turn signal but I am not sure I'll do that.

The pipe is already dirty because I got caught in the rain yesterday.

From inside the wheel well.

The joint at front of swing arm.

Clearance between can and heat shield.

That is good news. Two days ago, I sent them a note via ebay and told them this exhaust did not melt anything aft of the outlet. If I really wanted to melt the turn signal, I bet I could. There is that much adjustability in the mount. Here is the note I sent them via eBay.

Dear delkevic_us,
I recently purchased the 14" stubby exhaust for my Super Tenere. It fit nicely and does not blow hot exhaust on the turn signal. Someone on the Super Tenere forum claims to have contacted you about this and, based on the conversation, you may have removed the 14" from your site. This is not necessary. In my opinion, the 14" pipe is perfect for the Super Tenere and the price is very competitive. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information. Thanks, Bill
