On mine which is the heated seat, the forward tilt is completely gone. Its perfect.
With my military discount it was not that much more than the regular seat and it was in stock here in Florida. I also will not be stationed in florida for ever and will probably be up north somewhere on my next tour, so the heated seat will be a bonus. It was also in the upper 20's for a few weeks last winter on my rides to work. It does get chilly in Jax. Not sure about the seat stitching. I hated it in pictures but when I got to Corbin and put it on my bike, I was really impressed with the fit and finish. The leather Is very nice.avc8130 said:Heated seat? Jacksonville, FL? ::019::
That seat looks GREAT.
What is the idea behind the stitching? Is that their "basic" configuration?

10% and they also threw in a bottle of their Saddle Conditioner.avc8130 said:Thanks for your service!
How well does Corbin take care of military?

Dang!! Wish I knew about the discount, I'm a retired Coastie.coastie said:10% and they also threw in a bottle of their Saddle Conditioner.
Same for me. I already have the Rox 2" risers but had to roll the bars forward due to the Hydraulic lines so have ordered long lines from Jaxon and have sent my seat specifications to Corbin. Not sure what to expect from Corbin as they will only accept direct orders from the US & Canada. :question:coastie said:I picked one up last weekend and really like it. Only problem is I'm only 5'7 with short arms. If I sit on the sweet spot of the seat the reach is to far. I just ordered some rox risers that will move the bars back an inch. Hopefully this helps.
Hey Epping the 2" risers don't move the bars back very much. I went with these. No cable modification and it should be just about perfect.Epping said:Same for me. Hey Tiger_One, I tried to take a few reference pictures for you. Hopefully it helps.Tiger_one said:Thanks for the pictures "Coastie", that looks perfect.
Thanks, that is great comparison. Only 3 more weeks to wait.coastie said:Hey Tiger_One, I tried to take a few reference pictures for you. Hopefully it helps.
I'm only 5'7" with a very short reach. I got the Rox Pro offset risers and they made the riding triangle perfect for me. Now I sit right in the sweet spot and it feels like it will be comfortable for 100's of miles at a time.52edub said:When I got my Corbin, I decided not to use the seat adjustment riser. After some miles I added some rubber bumpers to the front to get a little more tilt toward the rear. So far this is working great. However, I now have to stretch more to the handlebar so going to try out some Rox Risers to get a more comfortable bend in the arms. I couldn't ride for more than an hour or so on the stock seat before my ass went numb. Always liked Corbin and realized that the heated seats are more comfortable than non heated.
No response yet from Corbin on my enquiry and it's been over a week. ::017::coastie said:Hey Epping the 2" risers don't move the bars back very much. I went with these. No cable modification and it should be just about perfect.
I moved my brakes in about 1/2 inch and that loosened my lines up nicely.Epping said:No response yet from Corbin on my enquiry and it's been over a week. ::017::
@ Coastie, These are the ones I bought. I little taller than yours so the lines are tight with bars rolled forward. Jaxon e-mailed me today to say they are on their way.
BTW his communication is great, keeping me informed as the order progressed. ::008::
