Just passed 6000 miles on my first set of TA3s. Still haven't hit the wear bars --- but that's not far off. Of all the bike tires on all of the bikes i've had over the years, these are my favorites. Feel is good. Handling is good. They stick. I'd love to put a new set on but nobody has had stock on the rear for over six months and I can't get any good answers from the online retailers or my local dealers. I talked to Continental directly and they said they were still making them and had stock of the sizes I need in their Indiana plant and all I had to do was get my local dealer to call their distributor and special order them. Two local dealers have told me they can't do that. Grrrr. Plus they charge about a $100 premium. Would much rather get them via Revzilla or Dennis Kirk but they aren't having any luck getting stock.

Glad I‘ve got two rears and a front waiting in my loft. Off to Valencia in a few weeks, which will finish off my current Tourances and I can then get back to the TA‘s. My last TA3 front did nearly 12k miles, pretty much two rears to one front.

I’ve just done 2000 miles through the French Alps on Conti TA3s and they were faultless everywhere from 36C to wrath of god
type thunder storms. I am a complete convert to these tyres.
