Well, I went in to my California dealer today who informed me that he thinks they will be two weeks behind Canada, eh. Additionally, there is a POSSIBILITY that us Californikistanis may be on the tale end of all of the orders. This was from a production standpoint and not necessarily a shipping one. Yes, we Californikistanis get our own bikes. They have a special blue paint which is clearly faster than the black and slightly faster than the other blue. Just sayin'! Don't shoot the messenger. I'm only reporting the facts. Nothing but the facts.
Darn CARB and their need to soil the bike with the idea they are not soiling the air. Yea, OK, go with that one.
Dealer indicated that from customs to dealership is usually an 8 - 11 day process. Customs, Warehouse, Queue, In Transit/Invoiced if I recall correctly..
My dealer says his contacts have been a bit silent of late but he will press him for more info next week and let me know what he hears.
He did indicate that he had heard of the pink one. There is supposedly only one...it also comes with square wheels. Hmmm, who knew?
