Thanks , bikes a gen1 , 2011. Kinda glad as the chain sounded like a lot more work. Think I’ll swop out the tensioner.I wouldn’t even consider changing the chain. If yours is a gen1 bike, makes sense to change to a newer CCT, if it’s a gen2, I’d leave it be at that mileage.

It was in the recommendation of people in here that saw me hunt down a Graves CCT. Definitely don’t regret it.Or throw a MCCT in there (GRAVES) and never need to buy another again........ Every 25K or so miles you add a touch of "clock wise tighten".... Takes about 5 min every 25-30K miles...

Excellent point actuallyOn the other hand, the chain is unbelievably cheap and you can buy a new chain for less than a good synthetic oil change, so if it makes you feel good, replace it.
