NICE ! What is the distance from your place to the camp ground ? Thats a haul... We will end up being about 1500 going up, and about 1100 coming back.

It's about 1,400 miles each way. I am actually leaving in two days, will spend a week in the Missouri area riding, than Custer with you guys, then I am heading to the area of Wisconsin Dells for another week, then home, maybe.

My buddy bailed on me. I still have a cabin with just me in it. I'm still debating on coming. I'm coming from Chicago. I'm not too keen on riding all the way by myself. Who is coming from the midwest? I have a cardo unit! and i can sing Country Roads to you over and over again!

If you don't find anyone and you feel comfortable about it, I think you SHOULD come on out... Will be worth it ! When you get to the camp ground, there will ALWAYS be someone (Tenere rider) who would like to share a cabin.. That really should not be an issue. Someone that thought they wanted to camp for 3-4 days on the ground until they find out you have an extra spot.... LOL

There is 3 or 4 of us leaving from the Ottumwa, Iowa area the morning of the 20th and taking 2 lane, might make it to Valentine, Nebraska that night.
If you want to ride with us you can get ahold of Timebak or Holligl. I'm just following them.

Like Steve said, I'm in your area but heading to Iowa later this week and leaving from there on the 20th, arriving Custer on the 21st. More than welcome to ride with us. Suspect Steve will tent, me and Timebak likely hotel on the 20th. Coming back, I have to be home by Sunday night, so will leave Saturday, missing the festivities Saturday night. Probably slabbing for time going home. Probably others heading East on Sunday/Monday departure though. Or Ride back with eemsreno and timebak through lovely Iowa.

We should be rolling in to Custer on the 22nd. We have a cabin reserved and can put up additional tents for $10. I can get off my leash for one day of riding one up. The other days will be two up and paved or easy gravel.

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone.

If you want to come out I know of a water pump that can be over night shipped to you. It will hold you over till your new one comes in. “Many-many weeks”
