big fan of alt rider , had lowers on my 12 , when I bought the 19 I did lowers and uppers . great bars . a buddy of mines uses Yamaha crash bars and he has dropped his bike a dozen times ,from trails to pavement , bike has survived unscathed . not as pretty as aftermarket but they work . as its getting harder to equip a new Super Tenere with aftermarket I think OEM will serve just the same though not as pretty .
Alt Rider no longer makes crash bars for our bikes

Hi,
doese anybody know where can buy these uper crash bar for S10 ,like on the pictures.?
They look like factory Yamahas with an odd upper attachment. This can be found on Yamaha.com, $498.99usd, but not the upper bars that are in your picture.

Remember that the OEM deflector is also a rad mount on one side. Make sure it's retained, or that the new piece has a provision for that.

I think they look promising. Hoping the fit, finish and quality is there. Really wanted altriders, too bad they dont make them anymore.Ordered Givi's. Had to send back, center piece in front was out of wack. Used many Givi products over the years first problem i've had with anything from them. Looked at the T. Rex and Outback motortek setups with their skid plates. I don't need that much protection, and the looks just aren't my cup of tea. Would have liked to buy American , just didn't see anything I liked enough. Keeping my fingers crossed, you know how it is. I can't wait to get them so I can mount my lights.

Installed tonight. 100% satisfied. Packaged well, fit great. Welds look good, finish very nice, I think I can take side panels off and remove battery without removing them. Will post some pictures in the next couple days i'm tired.
That is great to hear! Battery access would make it perfect indeed :), I also have mounted my GPS tracker behind that panel.. So whenever I need to change batteries on the tracker it would be useful as well.
