I asked if Baja would do that and that answer was no... If you split a set there is only one wire harness and one unit to adjust the LED brightness... 8)

Only 5 people have paid? Guess some people aren't as "in" as they say.

We are up to 7 paid. Only a few more. A great buy. A $750 kit for $575!!

Take a look here for the dual Baja Designs Adventure Squadron LED light setup:

http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDetail/660057_Squadron-Adventure-Bike-Kit

And here for the remote dimmer:

http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDetail/660055_Squadron-Led-Dimmer-Box-Kit

For more comparison, I snagged these photos from ADVRider.

The first shows 2 x 55watt stock low beam, 2 x 65w stock high beam, 4 x 100w Hella 4000 Cornering, 2 x 100w Hella 4000 Euro Beam all on at the same time (I believe the vehicle was a Range Rover). Holy crap...that's 840 watts of illumination. The sign in the pic is out at around 100ft.

The second is a SINGLE Squadron LED Driving light (the driving light is a combo driving and fog/cornering beam light). 44 watts. Impressive. Very impressive. Especially from a 3" x 3" light.

The lights also guaranteed for life.

So this set up will not be a drain on the bike as far as power goes? (not the electrical guy here)

You guys are gettin to me here, I was looking at the dually d2 stuff, the Baja's are more powerful, it looks like something that when the bike goes I can keep these and use them on another or even an rv application. Someone convince me what I am getting for 200 more bucks over the Duallys?( Rigid industries)

More light on the road, period. They are also dimmable, you can set them to go to full power when you flip on your high beams (only if you want), rugged construction, combo flood & spot in each unit. More better, all over IMHO.

I cant talk ya into it.. But you can use this 'set up' on: Other bikes, cars, trucks, RV, boats, Etc... Etc.. If you sell the bike, just pull the system off....

One other thing....since each light has 4 LEDs there is built in redundancy.

Something else to consider is that when it comes to build quality the D2 is not in the same universe with these. There have been many reports from people saying their D2s just quit working. Most often the culprit is bad solder joints, but that also tells me they aren't built to withstand vibration very well. You get what you pay for in this case with rugged build quality, lifetime warranty and light output that easily dwarfs that of the D2.

Compared to the D2d (dual intensity), the D2d put out 860 lumens vs 3600 lumens for the squadron.

So each Squadron is like 4 D2d's per light. That is serious light output.
