This group buy is now over.

Thank you for participating in the Baja group buy. I will be sending the group buy buyers the tracking numbers as soon as they become available. There are a few customers with special shipping needs. I will be in contact with those customers.. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me... If anyone needs assistance or guidance with custom wiring your lights feel free to email or call. I will be posting some pictures of a custom install.

Lights have been ordered and Baja now has the shipping info.. ~ Thanks Jaxon RIDE ON ADV

Hey guys,

Ive been working with Baja for weeks now on putting together a light package for the Super Tenere forum. Being that Baja has a large retail dealer base this was not easy to put together. Ive installed these lights and use these lights, they are AWESOME. In fact they are so awesome (size-weight-light out put-set up-Etc) I got with Baja to talk with them about a discounted group buy. These are some bad mamba-jomaa's !!!! This is what this group buy will include. If you have any questions PM / Email / Call anytime !

- We need ten (10) buyers to get this pricing.
- This kit will come with everything you need to install the Squadron lights. Lights, harness, controller, we will offer a mount.
- This is going to include two lights that contain four LED's per light, 3600 lumen's each (7200 total lumen's at 5000K)
- Plug-N-play wire harness
- Comes with wireless adjustable light mode switch so you can adjust the brightness of your LED driving lights.
- This group buy pricing for all of this, is a package deal for $575 **Normal price for this set up is over $758 for this same kit**

Guys who have signed up: If I missed you please contact me. Ive spoken to a ton of people about this group buy... Thanks

Tabasco,

Will both lights mount under the headlights similar to the picture or is their an alternate mounting system for two lights?

Interesting. I've been eyeing these. Couple quick questions.

would these be on when the bike is on and switchable to low and high output via the bikes headlight switch (i.e set and forget the low output via the remote switch), or would these have to be turned on and off via the included remote switch at a set single output?

will you ship to canada, and how much?

Jaxon,

What configuration (spot / driving) are available in this group buy, 2 spot/2 driving or 1 of each in this group buy? Is there any pics of the 2 light setup? Any pics of the night illumination compared to the stock low/high beam headlights?

Since this is a plug&play setup, any details on where the different components (relay, controller, etc) are designed to mount, especially since alot of us have modded our bikes with fuze blocks, speedo healers, etc....

I'm very interested!

Very interested, still deciding between these and the Clearwaters .

I have the same questions as all of the above, particularly how the switching works. Don't really care to be dependent on a remote. Is the dual mounting bracket under the headlight part of the kit?

I can call and ask about the spot VS the driving on the GB..... I'm pretty sure we can mix and match any combo but will confirm. I personally like the "driving" lights.. Each light has four LED's... The optics in this light are two spot and two driving... So you get the best of both worlds.. They are VERY bright.
Ive seen the wiring diagram. The main thing is the hot and cold wires... These will easley mount in your fuse block, Etc... Some of those leads might need to be trimmed a little but its an over all plug-N-play set up.... And if any of the ten people need help im here to help and would be happy to on installing the system... Its easy... Works very well....

Hey Dave,

You can wire this set up several ways.. The "normal" way will be this... You hook up the lights normal and you tie into your high beam switch. In your factory low beam you can adjust the LED lights up and down all you want. When you hit the high beams the LED lights go 100%... You can also turn the LED''s off and on with the remote and up and down.. You have full control over the LED lights...
Baja is not offering a mount... I will be getting a set of the lights sometime next week and will be making a mount.. If we can get ten people to participate I will offer the mount for people that want the lights under the head light for next to nothing..

Sign me up!!!

For the rest of you - Jaxon has been working with Baja Designs for a while to put this package together. The price tag may seem hefty, however, this is an outstanding value. If you are considering auxiliary lighting for your Tenere (or whatever bike), jump all over this!

Looks from your pics that it would be possible to suck the lights up about a inch or so higher. Whats your plan for the mounts?

If the driving lights are a combo fog/driving then that's the best of both worlds. Driving lights it is then!

Could these be mounted to a bracket attached to the fork tubes just below the fixed fairing mount? That way the lights would be pointed in the direction of travel at all times instead of lighting up the side of the road/trail when turning/corning?? How much juice/draw would a pair of these need from the XT's electrical system?

The Baja designs site says each light draws 44 watts (~3Amps).

Here is the web page showing the lights. I *think* our kit is the same, but with the addition of a remote dimmer and a ST specific mounting bracket.

http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDetail/660057_Squadron-Adventure-Bike-Kit

update...here is the remote dimmer BD lists:

http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDetail/660055_Squadron-Led-Dimmer-Box-Kit

So total list price is $750 without the mounting bracket. This is a KILLER deal!

Baja Designs also says the lights are guaranteed FOR LIFE!

Yes, of course. I'll be happy to sell you just one squadron and it can be run with your D2's. But the special pricing is only for this kit mentioned above.

Re: BAJA DESIGNS **GROUP BUY** SQUADRON from RIDE ON ADV

I'm in Jaxon! It would be cool if you are able to countersink the light-to-mounting-bracket bolt so we can get the lights closer to the bottom of headlight shroud. Anyway, hopefully we can get ten people.
