Did the Yosemite Adventure ride this past Saturday.
Couple things about the "National Adventure Riding Series". Each ride is put on by regional area promoters, and all are affiliated with the AMA. Other than that, I think each ride is unique to the local promoter. The ride I went on is an annual ride put on by Family Off-Road Adventures:

So, about the Super Tenere. It wasn't there. :'( It was mentioned quickly in passing, and all riding participants were given a ticket to mail in for the contest. That was it, nothing else. There were T-shirts for sale that featured a stylized picture of a KTM and a Super Tenere. (The promoter does a big KTM ride in the early fall).
And the ride? Like I mentioned earlier, I live fairly close by and have ridden trails in the area, so the views were not new to me. I didn't stop for pictures, and it really doesn't rate a ride report. It was not very challenging, being all double track and mostly gravel. Large dual sports would be a handful in a few of the tight spots, but all got through without mishap. Would I ride a new ST on the same route? No, but I'm not that good. The bike could do it, just not me (yet).
Will I go next year? Probably not. The event was fun, but I'm not really into riding the same trail with 80+ other riders in dusty conditions. Plus I've got the course coordinates in my GPS, and can go exploring the routes on my own.
