For me, which one would I make that claim?

And it DOES sound like you think the one you own is the best. Like I said, that's a good thing.

Being content can be elusive. But when we find a place and time that it can be grasped, it would be a shame to let it go by.

One minute it sounds like the Tmax is your nirvana. The next you sound like us tortured souls looking for the better bike.

Do u even really want to get another bike?

Don't go crying the blues when that deal on the 2012 is gone and you missed out with all you theming n hawing.
If you really want it , get it.
It's an awesome bike.
I got mine without test driving, heard from so many others about it n just took the plunge!

So glad I did! And since I got it early, I didn't get any deal. It was the only one I could find.

And contrary to what you say, I've had plenty of experience on a variety of bikes in the last 10 years since I got back into riding. Volusia 800, VStrom 650 (which I still have), BMW 1150 RT, KLR650.....

Good point. Test drives are nice if you can get them. But you do know that the Super Tenere was brought to the states by MOST of the fellas here stepping up to the pdp program. No test drive. No bike in the dealership to touch or look at.

I KNEW I wanted one BEFORE the first one arrived.

But then, I'm anything but indecisive.
