Some pics of fredz43 and I riding in Missouri last week. Great roads and Fred knows them all.

The small blur in the pics is Fred. He sets a good pace.

We were the only bikes at the Bixby Country Store. It wasn't open yet.

We decided not to stay here even though the price was right

Hi Dan,

I imagine most will be arriving mid afternoon on Friday. We'll probably have dinner together right at the hotel. The main ride will be Saturday. Hope that you and the wife can ride up an say hi.

I have a family commitment Friday that my mom reminded me about yesterday so I will be down very early Saturday morning to have breakfast with everyone. I am headed out today to ride the route and make notes. Will update when I get back ::008::

Ok I put together the route and rode it today. Leaving Farmington via hwy 32. Plenty of twisty back roads. Gas up in Farmington at the Rhodes station on 32. We won't need to fill up for 170 miles from there. We will stop a couple of times for breaks before lunch. Lunch is at
http://www.straydogbbq.net. In van buren mo. After lunch we will ride 4 miles down the road to big springs state park for some great photo ops. http://www.nps.gov/ozar/planyourvisit/big-spring.htm
From there we will head towards eminence mo. Stopping at hwy 60 and hwy 19 for fuel. Continue up 19 , the next stop will be Bixby country store for some hand dipped ice cream. ::008::
Total miles is right at 300.
Let's plan on pulling out at 8:00 ::003::

Is that 8 o' clock in the MORNING? ;)

BTW, there is a gas station adjacent to the Tradition Inn, so we should be able to gas up there before leaving.

Thanks

Got the OK from my respective masters so I'm in. I'll be calling for a reservation.

Ran into Fred at the MotoGP in Indy Sunday too. Small world I guess.

Tradition Inn group rate

There was some confusion at the Tradition Inn with regards to the group rate they had promised me. Even though they had told Wiliam42 and me that we could have a group rate of $68.95 for the Yamaha group, which we got when we reserved our rooms, they didn't mention that we had to block rooms for our group, so everybody there would know about our group rate. So, some that called there have been told they don't a Yamaha group or didn't get the group rate. It is all straightened out now and I blocked 15 rooms. If you made a reservation and they didn't give you that rate, call them again and tell them that you are part of the Yamaha block.
