Update on location for lodging. William42 and I stopped by Rosener's Friday on our way to ride about 1,000 miles of incredible MO and AR twisties. I was checking to see if we could again get a group rate for rooms. The good news is we can. The bad news is the restaurant is now closed and is property of the bank. With that in mind, we stopped by another facility just about 5 miles south on 67 and they would be glad to have us. It is a much nicer facility with a restaurant and bar that is open for lunch and dinner and the motel has a good free hot breakfast. I'll try to call freak this evening to discuss before posting details.

BTW, we stayed there on our way back and really liked the place. Restaurant/lounge on site, gas station/convenience store next door.

Same here. Plus they have 40 different brands of draft on tap and give a 15% senior discount on food and drink to anyone over 50. Guess that leaves all of us out. ;D

Ok, I talked with freak (Ed) and he agrees that our new venue will be the Tradition Inn, just down the highway from Roseners. Check their website at http://traditioninn.com/. Tell them that you are with the Yamaha group to get the group rate. They have king rooms available for that weekend @ $68 per night including free hot breakfast.

I'm running it by the wife. I'm wanting to take a trip of some mileage and see some great new roads to ride. Bit of a drive but hey, isn't that what they made the bike for in the first place.

You're right about that, booner. Hope you can make it. We'll show you some of our favorite Ozark back roads.

You gonna be at the MotoGP in a couple weeks? I'll be there.
