    YES WARRANTY Purchase, renewal, questions

I am sure EU law means service and repair does not have to be done by a dealer as long as the garage is registered and uses approved parts, warranty is ok if you have proof. Had this confirmed for my new Guzzi by the dealer who sold it new. Block Exemption Reg's

So Many Tenere Bikes For Sale

bought my first new bike last year, not because of the 3k discount more the 0% interest over 3 years. if i had put the cash into a bank monthly i would be getting 1.5%, whats the point? as said before, sod the depreciation, get a new bike and ride! cheap finance and personal contract plans has...

Engine runs like a champ when cold, but started to shuddered when warmed up.

although it took a while to appear I would bet on the tank removal being the cause, have it removed again by a good mechanic, stand there to witness and check all hoses, vents, connections, air filter and the throttle cables where they go onto the throttle sender device the lack of fault codes...

    Moto Guzzi V85 Adventure bike

six months into a Guzzi Audace 1400 - we only get into the 80's in summer but have never once felt any heat even when commuting in the city, theres an oil radiator with a fan and it uses 10w60 synth which seems to have the lump well under control heat wise. it rumbles at idle but beautifully...

    Harley Touring to Super Tenere

The brakes are possibly the best on a large adventure bike, the linked front/rear eliminate dive to the point I thought it as good as my previous GS. The balance and traction is good too, long wheelbase and engine well forward (side radiator) ideal. I have gone the other way, S10 to Guzzi...

    Super Ténéré 2017 & Beyond...

just bought a UK Euro 4 Moto Guzzi, and as part of the uplift from Euro 3 it has an MI (malfunction indication) light that monitors the fuel and emissions system, I assume that whilst true they dont test for emissions if you present a vehicle with this light on then you may have a problem...

wanted Super Tenere in the UK

i traded mine in 2 months ago at Colchester Kawasaki - gen 2 blue, 14k, up for 8k but i reckon they would take less large screen and rack plus originals, and 2 new tyres (assuming they fitted them), fsh and all works fine you may find they can offer some cheap finance?

    Ignition barrel/Immobiliser and ECU

http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=14476.15 see page 2 'big dave' i have read here and on other bike sites that re mapping the ECU can be done such that the bike ignores the immobiliser, maybe on the ST by using an American map - unless you really want to keep the immob suggest...

Prospective New ST Owner....what are your biggest beefs about your 2014+ ST?

the weight i dont notice the bike is well balanced and with engine well forward and a long swingarm puts power down well its got linked brakes, IMO it brakes better than other large adv bikes i have had (GS, KTM 990), the auto application of a bit of rear with front brake means its stable into...

Prospective New ST Owner....what are your biggest beefs about your 2014+ ST?

the engine is a bit rattly and maybe lacks soul, but you get reliability for sure the bike changes big time after 5-7k, ride one with miles if possible, they pull better and fuel consumption improves

Is the Super Tenere an "Old Mans" Bike?

never had that comment - usually they ask what it is, lack of tank badging and rarity causes confusion

    Running Twin batteries. Ideas

Saw a good mod once that involved a second battery in the top box with led lead lights and USB plugs for camping, phone charging etc, and a solar panel mounted on top of the box to charge the cell. Some good PV panels around now and a full days ride in reasonable sunshine charged the cell...
