wanted Super Tenere in the UK

open to other colours though under 25k miles,

I'm suprised you've not found one yet as there seems to plenty out there for sale,perhaps you might need to nudge the budget up a bit if you can.

Yep few at dealers mate just none on private yet went looking at a few today at 6k from a dealer for a 10k mile gen 1 up north very nice an a gen 2 at 7,800 from a dealer with 13k on the clock just outta reach price wise that

Only started looking propperly today as my uncle passed away this week so been a tough one

Just tossing up between a gen 1 or a gen 2

Gen 2 has the cruise control,revised clutch basket and cam chain tensioner and anti vibe handlebar mounts etc,i was in the same situation as you last year but i wanted a White/red speedblock Worldcrosser which they didn't do in Gen 2 so bought a 62 plate Gen1 private with 5k on the clock,i paid nearly dealer price at the time but it had never seen the rain and had nearly every extra possible to bolt on an XT.I've never ridden a Gen 2 to compare with mine but i have heard they are a much smoother machine than a Gen 1.

not to shabby at all gonna go trek round a few dealers at weekend seen a few around the 6k mark at dealers with 10-13k miles near me so fingers crossed, be ace if one comes up private though so might just wait it out seems daft in a way getting one from a dealer

Try and have a test ride on a Gen 1 and Gen 2 to compare them against each other if you can,see if there is any hesitation around the 2k-2.5k rpm mark and some people complain of vibes on Gen1's around 3k rpm

Pretty much decided I'm after a ZE gen 2 in blue if anyone has one for sale

or a gen 1 in blue haha but totally gotta be a blue one

i traded mine in 2 months ago at Colchester Kawasaki - gen 2 blue, 14k, up for 8k but i reckon they would take less
large screen and rack plus originals, and 2 new tyres (assuming they fitted them), fsh and all works fine
you may find they can offer some cheap finance?
