One of the nice things about owning a FJR was all the great technical info available on-line. Warchild's web site had the procedure for adjusting the CO setting which required a jumper wire in the wiring harness. I did not have any lean surging problems as reported by some owners, but my bike...

Looks good in black finish. The center mounted GPS location makes ignition key accessibility a bit of a PITA but I see that it can be mounted to the side.

From the reports I have read, the OEM exhaust has a good sound and is relatively light weight. I do not plan on purchasing an aftermarket exhaust to annoy my neighbors or attract the police when I am blasting down the road.

Every time I see someone talking and driving, I cringe. My car got rear ended by a knuckle head on a cell phone.

My biggest problem with my FJR was the rear shock - I felt every crack in the road. I replaced it with a Wilbers which was nothing short of fantastic - completely changed the comfort and adjustability. I'm hoping the S10 shock will not need an upgrade. I looked on the Wilbers site but did not...

I like the looks of the OEM bags. The only drawback I see with the side cases is the lack of a brace across the rear for ultimate stability. I thought the FJR bags were too heavy and had limited capacity. Does anyone know the weight of the OEM side cases?

I have an oil filter (part # 5JW-13440-00) from my FJR that I traded in. Does anyone know if this is the same filter used on the Tenere?

I usually find that if I hold the clutch in for the first 20 or 30 seconds after start up that I don't get the big clunk going into first gear with a wet clutch. Oil contamination is the biggest problem IMO.

How much weight do the crash bars add to the bike?

The Yamaha heated grips with the cables blocking the instrument panel is just completely stupid and a deal breaker for me. The HDB bar bracket looks like an excellent solution for the ABS switch location.
