I have a JPG snag screenshot of the Yamaha Dealer System web page that my dealer provided to me showing my order (as well the other Super Ten orders he has), and from looking at it I think I can see where someone might be confused that their bike could be in the warehouse. I can't post the page because it has other folks names, etc. on it other than mine, and I just don't think it would be right to post that screenshot here without those folks' permission, or my dealer's.
Anyway, the page lists you order info across the page... with the following fields, left-to-right: Product Line, Sales Program, Order Number, Model, Status, Expected to Ship, Credit Status, Quantity, Invoice, BOL (which I assume to mean Bill of Lading), Pro Bill, PO Number, Warehouse. For my order it reads as follows:
Product Line: MCY
Sales Program:M12S01 2012 SUPER TENERE PDP ORDER PROGRAM
Order Number: 155967
Model: XTZ12BL
Status: REQUESTED
Expected to Ship: (this field is blank, as it is on all the orders on the page)
Credit Status: (this field is blank, as it is on all the orders on the page)
Quantity: 1
Invoice: (this field is blank, as it is on all the orders on the page)
BOL: (this field is blank, as it is on all the orders on the page)
Pro Bill: (this field is blank, as it is on all the orders on the page)
PO Number: (this is the field where my full name appears, as does the names of others who have ordered)
Warehouse: DALLAS
I asked my dealer about the "Dallas" warehouse notation, and he said that was simply to show their normal stocking warehouse that they would normally receive bikes from. Oddly enough, when I ordered my 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 back in September of 2005 it also showed "Dallas" as the warehouse, yet when mine finally shipped in April of 2006 it came from Yamaha's Los Angeles warehouse.
Just FYI...
Hope it helps!
