Just thought I’d share my idea for securing my helmet if I have to leave the bike. A u-lock through the chin bar is infinitely preferable to a d-ring lock. Actually, my helmet doesn’t have a d-ring even if I wanted to use it. It hangs on the bike pretty unobtrusively when not in use.

I really would like some highway pegs, but I'm unsure of how to accomplish this. Some pics would be nice :)

Of all the bikes I've owned, I've never done that. Always just shut it off with the key. Never had a problem. Is this unusual behavior? Do most riders use the kill switch?

Is it common to be able to bolt these right up without modifications to the hoses or cables? I watched an installation video, and it looked pretty straight forward. A little loosening from clamps was all there was, iirc. I think these will be one of my first farkels.
