I found out something interesting (to me anyway) today. One thing that attracted me to the Tenere in the first place is its KLR-like ergos. Well today, for the fun of it, I compared it on cycle-ergo.com with my long gone '79 CB750. It's closer to the S-10 than the KLR! Knees and hips are within 1 degree each! Who knew?

And the countdown continues- 28 days until I have the funds to pay the balance on my '15 ES.

"Patience my ass, I'm gonna kill something." I've been in your shoes. The closer the day gets, the worse it seems. But, back to the ergos, you're right, it's a big, comfortable wolf in sheep's clothing. You're going to love it.

That's why I love it. I've ridden 300,000 plus miles on 1970s standard motorcycles, KZ1000s and KZ650 Kawasaki in my case and found the standard position was best in all regards, then everyone seemed to go either Harley look, or the roadracer look for ergonomics, of which neither work at all for me. I knew the super tenere was for me the first pictures I saw back in 2010 when the first pre orders were available for USA.
