Does this forum have an "ignore" function for over hashed topics?

It's a pretty major undertaking and it seems to come down to a few dedicated individuals, who do a lot of recon to put these things together. I don't know exactly how long, but Sam Correro states that it took him years to create the TAT. While it's challenging to link dirt and gravel roads...

Just an FYI...but if you go with the standard OEM filter (5gh-13440-20) it's gonna be a tight fit against the Altrider plate. The 5gh-13440-50 is much shorter and leaves a lot more space between the filter and skid plate.

Congrats on your purchase. I mount a large duffle over the seat and have never had an issue with heat. Obviously you would not want hang saddlebags over the bike without a rack. Here's my setup....everything tent related goes in the orange duffle and no problems with heat. Makes for a decent...

I usually like to watch vids from those guys but, in this one, he just seems to be pretending to do a review. And........though it's not unique to this particular review I don't get the way these bikes are pitched by the press......."A competent bike on tarmac, made to you get you to the dirt."...

Funny you should mention it...just there last weekend. Want to get back there soon and explore more of this stuff. I didn't realize there was so much of it in and around the park.

My bike also came with the Battlewings and I got similar mileage out of them, even after beating the hell out of them on the CDR last summer. They're not K60 tough, but they're a competent, do most things tire. I figured I'd put another set of them on when the time came, but then the Anakee 3...

Mine has a thirst for oil too. Especially on 400 mi, high speed runs in the summer. Haven't noticed smoke yet, though.

Rode 32 south (amazing Tarmac) and kept going when it turned to gravel (awesome). Hit 281 and just finished off with the dragon. A lot of people NOT maintaining their lane on the dragon, though. >:( All in all a great two days and thanks for the suggestions...great roads!
