Who you kidding?
You are waiting on a lot more "pieces" than your ecu. :)

You WILL be going to Colorado!

I heard Tallgears is waiting on a few custom parts. Big wide tire kit, extended swing arm, ape hangers and a few chrome parts. Lol
This is going to be a bad ass bike :)

ECU Inleashed received my unit last wed. Emailed asking when done last friday, they said monday at latest. I emailed yesterday and no response, and then just emailed again. Yes this surely sucks that we can't call and talk to a human.

Have you gotten a reply yet Jeff?

Mine still hasn't gone out and since they received yours first I'll bet I can expect mine to go out after yours...

Fed-Ex says my ECU was delivered to the address ECUnleashed provided. If you want to see where that is check the following link:

http://tinyurl.com/ECUnleashed-Street-View - (Swing left if you wanna' see the building's sign. Zoom in on the lower right side of the building, where you can see the "UP" in UPS and the Fed-Ex in the window, right next to the tree if you wanna' see the actual 8209A address. I imagine ECUneashed's dropbox is #122 right inside there... :) )

As they specified I included a prepaid return shipping label, so like all you folks here I'll be interested to see what kind of turnaround time there is to get it headed back my way.

Fingers crossed!!! ;)

I did get a confirmation email on Wednesday they received the ECM and I was to expect it to be sent out by today. I sent it 2 day air with a return label. Hopefully that'll be accurate but given this is a holiday weekend, the soonest I would get it back would be next Tuesday. In the meantime I've been catching up on other S10 projects that I postponed. It's raining here and is supposed to be crappy weather all weekend, so that will make it a bit easier to rationalize sending this in.

Greetings,

I have finally drank the ECU flash kool aid. My ECU is boxed up and taking a trip to New Braunsfels without me. Hopefully it will be back by the weekend and I can sing the glory of my happy motor. Mine is stock except for a two brothers slip on can. Should I stop using the clutch mod after the reflash? Thanks for all the great information on this thread.

Yes, it is not required, and could be detrimental as I suspect whatever Map it does run with the clutch shorted ECU-U have almost certainly not altered it so it would probably run as if you had not got the Flash.

You won't get the full-on WOW factor as you have had the CJM in place and on full tilt it will not seem massively improved, but the improved throttle response will blow you away if it is as much of an improvement on your bike as it was on mine (UK Spec)

California to Washington State via Kentucky makes sense to some UPS engineer!

Mine went to Kentucky too.

I don't how UPS routes their packages, but years ago *ALL* Fed-Ex packages went through, IIRC, Memphis, Tennessee. Literally every single one. Fed-Ex would toss every package from wherever it came from on a plane, fly it to Memphis, sort where each package was going, and then it'd go on a plane to get routed to where it was going. I saw a documentary once where it showed that all packages had to hit that Memphis hub within a two-hour window to get sorted and shipped out. It was pretty friggin' impressive.

I know now that Fed-Ex has multiple hubs, like Indianapolis and Alliance near Ft. Worth, and I'm sure UPS does, too. For me, to this day I am still wonderfully amazed that I can be sitting here in South Texas, go and drop a package off at a UPS or Fed-Ex facility, and it can be literally in Bumf*ck, Wherever the very next morning if I so desire... And all for what amounts to an extremely fair cost. I can remember back when I mailed a package and it took literally weeks just to cross the USA. And now Fed-Ex even has "Same Day" delivery in some areas... ???

On another note, I have had one package delayed lately due to the storm issues around Oklahoma... Doubt that's pertinent in the cases above, but just FYI.
