Not done riding. This is my #2 S10 I kept by my cabin in the Poconos for summer riding. S10 #1 lives at my home in Ocklawaha. A couple of years ago in Pennsylvania My artificial right hip acted up and I couldn't throw a leg over the S10. Unwilling to not ride, I bought a Burgman 650 to step...

2012 S10 for sale SOLD to some lucky soul.

I'll hit 80 this October and I have decided to put the bike on my "Danish death cleaning list" The bike is a bit unusual as I lowered it 2" with the Wilbers lowering kit that replaced the rear shock and fork internals. I have the original shock and a set of fork internals to pick it back up...

    Removing fork cartridges

Got the cartridges out. The cartridges were spinning in the fork leg and I had to fabricate a tool to hold them in place while the bottom bolt was removed. Seems like a special tool is needed to fix the top of the cartridge. Anybody have suggestions on opening the cartridge?

    Removing the rear shock

    Removing the rear shock

Well, I've done this before sometime back on a 2013. Now I am replacing the shock on a 2012. The manual offers the handy tip to remove the shock between the frame and subframe. This seems impossible to me... a chinese puzzle. The alternative seems to be removing the exhaust to remove the...

Is the Super Tenere an "Old Mans" Bike?

well I am 75, so MY S10 IS an old man's bike. Just took 3 days to ride to Austin from Orlando ... visit a friend and see the MotoGP. The bike was flawless. Call it what you will. Love the thing.
