John the seat was supposed to arrive tomorrow but arrived today, the box was in terrible shape but luckily the seat still looks like new ! Thank you very much ! Mounted it’s about 1 inch taller and a lot wider than my Corbin seat was.

CycleDude...why the change? Did you not like the Corbin? Are you looking to sell it? I'd like to get a RDL, but I can't afford the add'l 1" height...I'm already on balls or toes

I mostly like the Corbin pretty Well but it’s very slippery and when riding rough roads it’s a little to firm but overall it works pretty well. It sits a good inch lower than the RDL so at least for now I’m not going to sell it. My opinion is if the Corbin wasn’t so slippery and a little softer it would be my number one choice for the Tenere.
Friend bought a new RDL last year and lended it to me for a week, other than the extra height it worked very well for me so I’ve been watching for a good price for a RDL ever since.
Another friend bought a Seat concepts seat and I tried that for a couple hundred miles, it’s definitely an improvement over the stock seat but I preferred the Corbin.
In all my years of riding I never wanted or bought a different seat until I got the Tenere , but maybe it’s just part of getting old.
Because of the extra height I will probably also be buying a taller windshield because at freeway speeds my current windshield isn’t quite tall enough for the RDL. I will most likely be buying the VStream touring windshield which is 2.5 inches taller than the medium VStream currently on my Tenere, it’s also clear instead of tinted, I never did like the tint, but I guess everyone likes different things.
