2013 Super Tenere with 21,000 miles. Wilbers shock, SW motech case mounts with aero cases, oxford heated grips, kaoko throttle lock, seat concepts seat, givi crash bars, fairly fresh michelin anakee adventure tires, garmin gps. So why am I selling it? Still vigorous and riding at 81, Karma finally got me and riding on bike #2 in the poconos I smacked into bambi and got sent down the road at about 60mph. Armored up, I escaped largely unscathed except my right hand got crushed and doesn't work well any more. Since stop and go is the right hand, my riding days are done.

Sorry to hear about your hands. I really hope I can still ride a Super Tenere at 80!

Glad you're otherwise okay, but sorry to hear about the hand. I'm hoping to still be riding my Super T at 81, that's but 5 years away for me. Much respect to you.

Maybe you could get one of those bikes with the DCT tranny and get the throttle and brake adapted to work on the left. I don't know if that's realistic or desirable, but it could possibly prolong your adventures on two wheels.

GLWS. It's a nice bike with some good upgrades and should sell quickly at that price point and in the SE. BTW, mine is a gray 2013.

Glad to read that you walked away from your deer strike relatively unscathed and God bless that you were still scooting about at the age of 80 on that big beast.
