    Air Hawk Seat Cushion

How did the medium work out for you in the end?

    Final Drive Protector/Guard Fitting

Argh! So basically I don't have any of the fixings (honestly - I'd forgotten there's two bolts!). Yeah this isn't the one by your ankle - it's the thing that runs along/underside the driveshaft to the rear wheel.

    Final Drive Protector/Guard Fitting

Hi all, The front of the final drive/shaft drive guard dropped-down on me one day (I believe I heard it's only held on with a cable-tie?), and because I was out and about I remove the bolt holding it at the other end and strapped it to the seat to get home. Unfortunately I've mislaid the screw...

Well-kept secret to mounting to a 12mm accessory bar

I don't know if anyone found anything, but UltimateAddons make something to go on a mirror stem, which is 12mm and so perfect for the accessory bar. Worked a treat for me along with their phone-specific waterproof case. Ball mount for accessory bar...

    2018 adventure bike meet

Sounds interesting. I've never been off tarmac on any bike, let alone my tenere, but I've always wanted to since I got it. Only easy stuff so the risk of dropping is relatively low and damage light if I do.

Super Ten Meet Wales October 2018

I'd quite like to come, but I'd likely camp instead (this one looks nice: https://goo.gl/maps/wSCJkWFoK3G2). Perhaps I could meet you for breakfast on the Saturday morning? May or may not leave my tent pitched and camp again on Saturday night, or perhaps just head home.

    Highway Dirt Bikes accessories clamp

Anyone done anything interesting with a Highway Dirtbikes top clamp? I've seen these bad boys and thought that with the right combination of switches etc, they'd make a lovely job of installing accessories and switches for accessories (for things that you don't need/want at your thumbtips)...

    Normandy Invasion

That's excellent. Thanks for putting the effort into posting that. Would you mind telling us what kit you were using for your photos? Looks like you had a GoPro Session on your helmet, and something on a retractable tether to your shoulder? I can't be arsed with editing video, and prefer still...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

A very kind friend gave me his unused OEM under-headlight spotlight brackets (he had the top crashbar so didn't need them). I used them to fit some basic LED spots...

    Wires on LED spotlights

I have some LED spots that I got from a friend, but they have three wires on each - red, black and white. I'm guessing red and black are live and ground, but what's the white wire likely to be for? Literally each light has a cable with three wires, no harness or relays or anything else evident...

Where to take switched live for switching current for relays?

I'm thinking of getting an eastern Beaver PC-8 for my accessories because I appreciate how tidy a solution it is, but this question equally applies if you use a more "home made" solution. So the PC-8 supplies power for "stuff", and in most cases where I want an individual switch (e.g...

Well-kept secret to mounting to a 12mm accessory bar

At the moment I'm in touch with RAM via email. The idea is to skip the ball entirely, and mount the "diamond" style fitting directly to the accessory bar and that will allow the case I've bought to mount directly to it with the quick-release mechanism. If I can get this to work, I'm sorted...

Well-kept secret to mounting to a 12mm accessory bar

When I bought the Tumbler, the previous owner had installed the Touratech adjustable windscreen bracket (https://shop.touratech.co.uk/windscreen-adjuster-with-gps-mounting-bar-for-yamaha-xt1200z-super-tenere-up-to-2013.html) and upon it, the Touratech locking GPS mount for the Garmin Zumo 660...

    Wings Added today :-)

I have the touratech adjustable bracket and a givi airflow. Works well enough, but if it wasn't for the accessory bar I'd ditch the touratech bracket (not my choice; came with the bike) and just mount the screen directly. Partly because things'd look simpler and cleaner, and partly because the...
