I ordered my cases and such from Italy as well. FedEx did try charging me. I think it was $23. I fought it (to prove a point). I won and didn't need to pay a thing.
I bought the Mad Hornet one as well. It is not quick detach so it takes a minute to remove and reinstall after cleaning. The other thing I noticed was the mounting spacers must have been painted with a black marker because the color has faded almost gone after only 2.5 months and maybe 1800...
If you are looking for one for a 2012, I have one off my 2013 that will fit. PM me with a reasonable offer plus shipping. It has maybe 350 miles on it before I changed it for a National.
I'm heavy (270). I tried it in the high and low position but no luck. I have had Corbin on a couple of Harley's over the years and liked them. They were as hard as bricks. Wife hated them, but the rider portion of the seats was better formed. I think I am going to try riding the stock seat on...
I received my seat and installed. Looked like good quality. Super heavy compared to stock. The top suede material scared me as it felt like it would show wear easily and soak up water. Upon first sitting on it, I thought it was more comfortable than the stock one. Did seem to lean you forward...
D&H quoted me $389 for original 4 year YES. Great price. My local dealer got really close to that so I kept my money local. If they would have been higher, I would have went with D&H for sure.
I decided to do the same thing. Thought if nothing else, I could use this new seat while I send my stock one out for customizing. Can't be worse than the stock seat. Should have mine next week.
Re: WTB: OEM Exhaust/Muffler for 2013 Tenere
Looking for the whole exhaust or just the muffler? I have the stock muffler I would part with. About 1300 miles on it. PM me if interested.
When I first got my Tenere, I thought the stock headlights weren't bad. After installing my 6" Rigid LED bar, I couldn't stand how terrible the stock headlights were. I looked into HID and LED. Those both had drawbacks. I wanted to try something cheap, but somewhat of an improvement. Researching...

When I was searching for my new 2013 last fall, they were one of the lowest cost dealers I searched out. I ended up buying at a different dealer spending about $200 more but convenient. I know not close to you either but might be worth a look. If I...
