Installed motowerk highway pegs. Did a short test ride with them. Soooooooo comfortable. I keep installing new things and each time I'm like "man this has made a huge difference" and then they keep getting one upped by the next thing. I installed winglets a couple nights ago and thought those made a huge difference, now I think that while they were a great purchase, my highway pegs were an even better bang for the buck. I'm not sure yet if I'll leave them on all the time as I'm not a big fan of the look, but we'll see. I can remove the long piece and peg with just 1 bolt and leave the bracket on.

Were the marker lights plug-and-play?
Yes the light plug right in. No clearance issues or anything like that. By the way, the same bulbs are also used for the license plate light.

Adjusted the rear brake switch. I adjusted the rear brake lever down for comfort and the cruise wouldn't set. Adjusted the switch and all is good! Also packed up and sent back the air hawk seat cushion. It pushed my hips forward and caused strain on my left side of my back. Waiting for my Seth Lamm seat!

Installed Knight Design foot pegs, adjusted, lubed shift linkage and brake lever. These appear well made, they lowered the foot position about 1 1/4”; gotta put some miles on to see how they work out.

Nice. Can you lower the controls far enough? Motech was only 13mm and the brake was maxed even with a bit of the rod cut off.

I think so, just as I finished a thunder storm came through so did,t put any miles on it; seemed ok on center stand. I’ll let you know.

Installed Bryns windshield support brackets and lowering brackets for my passenger pegs. Plan on taking a couple hour ride with my wife this evening so I'll report back.

Pictures aren't the best. Work done in my toy hauler with a head lamp lol.

I've never had a bike where the top clamp was even. Honda's are even marked with a dot to show you they go to the front.
The gap should be parallel not angled as yours shows. This causes the bolt head to sit uneven.
You could prob live with it, just pointing it out.

Anyone else? Am I wrong here?

Seeing this is a 2014 and they are angled, could they be swapped left to right?
I know this is an old post but the subject has been bugging me.
Can anyone give me a text book answer as to why the handle bar clamps should be tightened as shown in the photo? (courtesy of Touratech) What is the significance of no gap on one end and some gap on the other?

Because the front of clamp is milled right down the center-line of the bars.
The rear of the clamp is milled with clearance to slightly flex and grab the bar.
Honda marks their clamps, not sure others do.

In the service manual it shows the bulb replacement requiring the headlight housing to be removed to gain access to the bulbs in the service manual it shows the bulb replacement requiring the headlight housing to be removed to gain access to the bulbs Is that the case or can you reach under the dash and get to them ?
