Just picked up Conti TA3’s for mine too(£225 from bikespeed). The OE bridgestones are nearly shot at 4600 miles. Can’t wait to get the contis fitted, had the 2’s on my old GS for some years and can’t fault them. Can’t really see how the 3’s could be better, only time will tell.I wanted to fit those Pirelli but I have opted for Continental trail attack 3 hoping that they will last around 7k-8k miles...
Please let us know how long yours will last, I might give them a try next time I will have to change the tires...

For now. . . . around here, you can't find new ones. Which pisses me off, because Yamaha is still using them as OE. Of course, if Yamaha bought all of them . . . .Battle Wing BW 501 & Battle Wing BW 502 !
It looks like we still have some here in Switzerland :For now. . . . around here, you can't find new ones. Which pisses me off, because Yamaha is still using them as OE. Of course, if Yamaha bought all of them . . . .
I just checked, CHF 57.00 (65USD) for 5kg from Switzerland to USA and 15 days. 130USD for 20 kilosI'd use them if I could get them. Good bang for thebuckFranc.
Dennis Kirk has some. For now. . . . around here, you can't find new ones. Which pisses me off, because Yamaha is still using them as OE. Of course, if Yamaha bought all of them . . . .

I drive 80% tarmac; I buy it for the winter, and they are like road tyres, no difference… except by the noise.Hey
Thanks for sharing!
How do they handle on tarmac?
