My wife has one of those 500 cc Harleys (XG500). It's really tuned for low and mid-range power with a lot of flywheel. I don't find the throttle twitchy at all, but neither do i find the super 10 throttle twitchy. The 500 is sort of gutless, to be honest. Here's what just occurred to me. Twitchy is a state of mind. Having grown up on 2-stroke dirt bike with little throttle and a relatively narrow power band, one learns throttle control. (not that i am great - now that i am older, i use a G2 throttle with a cam which opens the throttle more slowly than stock from 0 - 25% throttle.)
I could be wrong, but I attribute my insensitivity to "twitchiness" to dirt bikes. All hail dirtbikes!
