I really don't think the electric market will take off for mass market until they rival petrol for range and refueling. For me a lot of it is corporates trying to look green. I have however read about Quantum Batteries which use Entanglement to charge. What's amazing about them is the bigger the battery the quicker they charge ( more entanglement taking place )

Absolutely. And forcing people to go EV before those issues are address is infuriating.

If it was an event like the IMS last year, they have a little course they take you around. I would think a full charge would last them all day. Not going very far, and the ZERO is supposed to have well over a 100mi range.

I will have to try one some time I drive hybrid cars a lot and they take off quick.

I have nothing against EV/EBs. 'Cuz yeah, instant quiet power? How is that a bad thing? Reduced maintenance, not zero maintenance. It's just that the infrastructure isn't there, and the batteries are limited in range. My initial thought was to just put the car on the charger nightly. Then I remembered that litium batteries don't like being "topped off". Use them 'till empty. Well, if you do that with your car, depending on your charger, it could take days to go from empty to full.

I think bikes would work out better than cars on 'lectricity.

Quantum Batteries will be the future. When it gets here.

we are all going to be walking most places as there is not enough grid to plug everybody up . its fake news .
now I find electric vehicles interesting , but the truth about them is they produce more problems than they solve. and most of the parts are produced with fossil fuels . when they shut down most of the fossil fuel suppliers as an example , what will a tire cost ? last look cars use tires and tires are made of oil. plastics , steel and aluminum , copper , and giant earth moving machines to dig up the planet looking for lithium . batteries don't last and batteries are toxic . wind mills only work when it's windy , and they kill birds by the thousands . solar needs sun and some times its cloudy. nuclear is great till it leaks and you can't live there for 2000 years. most of the crisis is political as there is no crisis . the "chicken little " propaganda is in full force. tasty cool aid they serve up , drink all you can . tires for our beloved motor cycles are getting close to 400.00 a set . that for 2 tires . that will not last most of you a year. I need to loose about 50 lbs,
so walking might be good for me , have to find something positive here.
just my opinion on the subject.

You are correct here but the electric revolution will not come from conventional means as you have explained above. It's just more toxic destruction.

ha ha ha - That was entertaining. No electronic ignition or fuel injection for you.
;)
There will be internal combustion engines for as long as any of us are alive because NOBODY has ever said the move to electric is going to be overnight, or that there won't be places where ICE makes more sense.

EVs currently cost about another quarter in materials to build than an ICE car. However, the life cycle costs to own and run them are far less, plus, the cost of batteries is plummeting.

fwiw - The batteries are outlasting the bodies on the relatively EVs, when they are broken down at end of life, much of them go into other uses, such as stationary batteries, and we are just getting going with efficient battery recycling centers.

Well not after nukes get dropped. Or EMPs are used as mainstream weapons.

So, way in the future, when all the ICE cars are gone, and we're all electric all the time, and the globe continues to warm . . . . who/what will they blame? 'Cuz you know it will continue . . . . until the next ice age; #6 by the way.

Keep in mind that I'm not anti EV. And I do support clean air. But using "the sky is falling" to gain compliance is where you lose me. We should continue to improve the EV and the required infrastructure. We should continue to reduce emissions where we can. But . . . . the seas are still going to rise regardless of what we do. It is an indisputable fact that Texas was covered by ocean "back in the day". . . . and likely will be again.

A lot of what caused all that is Tectonic Plate movement pushing up the Sea Floors ( See Lyme Regis Dorset ) so the water goes somewhere else that's colder and it freezes. Its also now higher up. It's really not just about the weather. You really need to understand some Geology to get your head around it. A lot of people believe the Earth is only 5000 years old as we did over here until relatively recently so just don't take its actual History into consideration when thinking about how things work.

5000 year old?!?! Evidence of what? We have very similar "fossils" in the limestone even as far north of the coast as we are. Around here, we use limestone for decoration and roadbase. Limestone itself is evidence of being under water. . . . for a long time. Your fossils seem to be in completely different stone. And I get that continents rise/fall, but before there were ice caps, that water had to be somewhere.

That's the Sea Floor which has been pushed up to ground level. What I am saying is its not just the weather that effects things.
