I think all of use who have been waiting patiently for over a year need to steel ourselves for the inevitable product improvements that are likely going to come to the S10 fairly quickly after they ship our bikes. If you're the type who gets upset when you don't have the latest/greatest, you're probably going to be upset within a year or so. Yamaha has not been sitting on their hands this entire time and if they're committed to the platform, they'll need to move it rapidly forward. Since the S10 is a direct GS-competitor, I view it as a given that they'll probably want to create a more off-road oriented "Adv" version as BMW does with their GS. And they'll have to respond to the water-cooled R12xxGS which will likely break cover this fall.
