My only experience is with the Madstad bracket. So I can't comment about the MRA deflector.
I've not found the perfect set-up yet… I don't mind wind blast, but "buffeting" as I described in my one thread makes me motion sick. I know part of it is my XD4 helmet as its not nearly as bad or noticeable with a standard helmet. If I stand on my pegs at highway speeds, the air is smooth. so I know its a matter of air flow on the screen creating the buffeting.
I found that with the Madstad, I can find a setting that is least annoying at highway speeds which is what bothers me. With my height and build, 5'10" short in the leg, longer in the torso, if I put the screen all the way up and back (towards me), the buffeting is non-existent for the most part till about 55 mph, and not so bad up to around 70-75 mph….
I was told by a few people the problem is the design of the stock shield that it needs to be wider at the top rather than narrow as it does AND the angle is too steep. Some have told me to shim the bottom of the shield to help tip it back. I've yet to try that….

1st Can I say, Love the Forum,
Heres the Question: To solve the helmet noise/ buffeting Should I get the Madstad adjustable mount or the MRA Wind deflector?
The Stock windscreen is great and I feel less buffeting, but now have the OEM the side wind deflectors and tall screen and the buffeting is unbearable at highway speeds.
