So I tilted my fuel tank a little too far back and pulled a wire out of a plug (from the fuel level sensor, I think).
Is there a way to get this wire back into this plug myself or do I need to buy a new one?
You might try and remove the blue from the green.... and then the little pins out from the blue. They use several types and each 'hold' the wire a little different.... You can definitely fix this with patience...... Maybe post pictures 'for the next time it happens to someone'
Alright, I'll give this a go.
By the way, what is that kind of plug called? I tried to google a fix for this but only came up with answers for 120v household plugs because I couldn't word my search correctly.

I've been working on replacing a connector with a burned pin and just now saw this, did you get your connector fixed yet?
That connector appears to be a Sumitomo HX 090 Series connector (2 pin HX .090 Female Connector)
Reference the pictures on these two suppliers websites:
On both of these sites it is the reddish color connector. You can order extra pins for this series of connector from either of these suppliers.
If you need a crimper that will work with these pins, see the Cycle Terminal page and scroll on down to the bottom.
See the links below for a couple of videos on removing pins from Sumitomo connectors.
They are not using the same connector, but they should help you figure out how to release the pins on yours.
