Oh shit, DD - if the gopro footage from our Gauley/Meadow circumnavigation I am downloading now does half justice to our WV ride today, you'll be clawing for ride beta...

This place is freaking amazing! I am now questioning why I moved away!
There's a reason so many people are willing to trailer up and haul their dirt toys to the Hatfield McCoy trails in that general area. It's the greatest riding I've ever experienced. Not surprised you are finding a similar experience wherever you are in that area.

I have a video to show you from my first ride down there. I don't want to hijack Jeff's thread. I'll add it to yours when you get the video up. If I don't spot it when you add it, send me an email to let me know where it is. I want to see what you did. I do enjoy watching you guys to claim to have little dirt experience throw yourselves into the fray and let the chips fall where they may. I love that attitude.

Heading out with Spklbuk for a ride here shortly but will start working on vids when I am back home. Should be some good stuff!!!

But as an FYI... the Hatfield/McCoy gets - in my opinion - a disproportionate amount of attention. The riding around here and what we did yesterday is just as good without all the yahoos out there, without the fees, and without the rutted out ATV/UTV/Side-by-side sections.

I discovered that the GoPro has a multi-photo feature that takes like 20-20 frames a second. So Gary and played around with that at a creek crossing and I was pleasantly surprised at what you can do with it. Here is a sample

Looks like the perfect place to ride the KTM. Looks fairly rough, but passable at the right speed for the S10. Is that a good representation of the rest of the course? I suspect the video didn't do justice to the slope of what you guys were riding. It never does.

DD, That was a good representation for the 17 of 50 miles I rode. There were more hills where I dropped out. Overall a good review, and no the video doesn't do it justice to the steepness.
