I've had an AirHawk on a couple cruisers.....Comfortable, but, add about 3/4 to 1 inch to height....also, I always got the feeling that I was squishing about back and forth, side to side....I've had a couple custom leather seats with a good gel pad underneath the leather, and it's better, IMO.

When me and Tolong did our trip to Mt Gambier, he had the Airhawk MCP - Medium Cruiser. http://www.airhawk.com.au/product_details.php?product_category_id=28&product_id=44

He said it was great. It looks to me the same size as the S10 seat, like it was made for it.
He did say the same as Blaine though, and that is it feels like you move around on the seat cornering and breaking. He just takes it off for normal riding and will only use it on big trips/rides.

I use the medium cruiser on long trips, it does take a bit of getting use to and does raise the seat height a little. The secret is not to over inflate it. But I am more than happy with it. I have tried the gell insert before on a FJR but found it gets hot when exposed to the sun ie when parked up. Seats like tyres and windscreens are an individual thing, but if I needed to replace the airhawk I would have the same again.

ditto what the guys said above, the medium cruiser fits perfect, I use it on longer trips - tried aftermarket seats but they didn't fit my a$$. So I kept the stock seat (with the tilt mod) and use the airhawk. Another benefit - if the wife goes along (she really hates her seat-even on short trips) I can use the same cushion on her seat - she luvs it.

I have the R version. It was a little wide for the stock seat right under the legs, which meant that you had to inflate it more than desired... but it did help a lot. I went to the corbin seat, which the R fits nicely, but is not needed.

What is the seat "tilt mod"? Tried a search but brings me back here

mine was delivered today, and MED cruiser seems to cover the seat well. I am not sure if i like it though. It feels like i am sliding around - like i am going to fall off!?! And that was sitting on it in my shop!! still too much snow on the ground to take it for a ride. I hate internet shopping where you cannot test something before you buy it :'(

Cheers guys received a Med Cruiser Airhawk Friday and rode into work with it today, I might need to let a bit more air out as it rocked me for and aft accelerating but it seemed to work just fine.

The key to using an Airhawk is to use the absolute minimum amount of air to get the desired affect. Your butt should barely be lifted off the seat. If you feel unstable or you're wobbly than you've over inflated.
