Took a little ride in southwest Florida this morning. Not much to see here in Flatistan. The roads are straight and the curves are few and far in between. Stopped at the Myakka river and took a couple pictures of the local wildlife. No old swimming hole fun here!

We're starting to see more and more of your wildlife in our rivers. They found a 10-footer in the Trinity River by downtown Ft. Worth.

Today just a short evening ride after work on the winding roads of the nearby area. It's a great time when the ice on the lakes melts and summer arrives.

Played Leap Frog with this couple from Rotterdam. They are here riding from Patagonia to Alaska. They plan to be there by August.

I did my first overnight trip on the S10. about 700kms in total, with maybe about 1/3 being gravel roads. It ended up being a lot wetter than I'd expected, so it was a bit cold and wet for a lot of it, and a lot of muddy, slippery tracks. But the S10 and Metzeler Karoo 3's handled it well!

Finally got away from the office. It was a beautiful day to be out riding. I took a half day off and ran out to the local OHV park to get reacquainted with my bike in the dirt. I forgot how much work this can be.
A couple of photos from the top of the hill and one from a fun little mixed terrain play area. Didn't stay long but still had a good time.
