Ish, weather here was not great yesterday... chilly and blustery. Challenging ride i would guess.
Yeah a bit, had an hour or so left to ride after the sun went down, that part was rather miserable.

Hi to all!
Today I had the opportunity to go to Avandaro (about 100 mi from Mexico City, very close to a resort area named "Valle de Bravo, being a lake) and we had wild boar rib tacos for late breakfast at "Don Abel" restaurant, very well known in Avandaro.
In the way to Avandaro we pass an area where there is a Monarch buterfly santuary call "Piedra Herrada", it was to cold and we where not able so see any buterflies.
Some pictures of todays trip.
At Don Abel:

This is the team at the Piedra Herrada place where the Monarch buterfly santuary is located, entrance call "Los Saucos". at the left is Everardo, in the center is Jose Miguel and in the right side is Mikel.

We had a great ride of about 300 km.
To all have a great working week.

How was the wild boar? I've heard that it's tough, and no good to eat. But, if it's being served at a restaurant, maybe the person I talked to couldn't cook. Or, is there a difference between wild boar, and feral hogs?

Sierra1 it was GOOD, it was tender, no tough at all, it will very well be feral hogs! but they mark it as wild boar!
There is no dought, I recomend it at this place! if you ever have the opportunity try it, you will like it.

Regards.

Lost Dutchman state park in the Superstition mountains. Just moved to Phoenix and enjoying some exploratory rides.
I had the opportunity to be in Phoenix, I worked for GM so I went to the DPG for many years and had the view of the Supertition mountains.

What a sadness that I did not have my S10 in those days to be able to have made trips all around Phoenix ! no dought there are too many places to visit in the area. For sure you will enjoy very much.
Regards.

I heard that a guy I know was camped down by the Des Moines River, so I left early this morning and rode down to have coffee with him.

He owns a motorcycle shop and sells Beta, Sherco and had Gas Gas until KTM took them over.
We ended up ridding all day on gravel, some dirt and had a great time!

Had the afternoon off, and the thermometer climbed up to 40*f today. There was a tag on the Moto Tag game that I knew of that’s not too far from home. So I flipped a coin on which bike to ride. The S10 won. Off I went.

Abandoned farm house was the tag. Now there are some great dirt roads and the Farm house was at the start. 22450C88-2590-47AC-A299-F56840AF1129.jpegBFC58710-C944-46B6-B602-D77A084819AF.jpeg

The tour of Idaho trail starts not too far from here, so I decided to ride the 1st little bit of the trail. C7CB63F1-D52A-41C2-BE57-86AB9C8A22DF.jpeg19D986A6-141A-445C-98A4-27B3D425B85F.jpeg5C3ACD6C-DA54-4F38-BEC7-8A4E31867B36.jpegDB25883F-7445-4D9C-955E-ED69D83EAA20.jpeg

From here on up it gains in elevation
