Need some chains or studs. Just get some short screws from the shop and put em in all your lugs. You'll be good all winter, just stay off the pavement! There’s not an Ice rating on these tires. Committing to go down, means no coming back up the way I came. First time picking my bike up on ice. View attachment 74541
It was an excellent ride today. Sure beats arguing about dumb stuff in the debate room.
Reminds me of my brother back in high school. Dropped our MX100 through the ice on a creek. He got it drug out, and left it for me to de-ice on the weekend when I came home from college. My thought was "What were you thinking?!"And then a simple creek crossing is not a simple creek crossing gives new meaning to creek crossing for me. Sheer ice. By the way, he made sure to let it soak over night before dragging it out.Reminds me of my brother back in high school. Dropped our MX100 through the ice on a creek. Looks like a memorable ride!

Kinda hard to get a bad mexican meal there, but Valle Luna is a local institution type place. My sister has a place there so I'm down from time to time. Actually going to be there tomorrow, but quick trip in the truck not on the bike. Next time Im down there on the bike Ill see if you are around for a ride!Awesome, thanks Kyle! I can't resist a good Mexican joint. Glad to be here.
My favorites when I lived there were "Rancho de Tia Rosa" on McKellips in Mesa (we just called it "Tia Rosa's") great food, awesome atmosphere, and excellent margaritas!Awesome, thanks Kyle! I can't resist a good Mexican joint. Glad to be here.
I lived in Phoenix for 6 years, and I got my ST while I was still there. The bike is made for AZ, and there is so much to explore around there. The route through Cave Creek up 7 Springs and Bloody Basin roads is an easy day trip, which can take you back to Camp Verde. From there, you can bomb back down 17 to home, or make it a longer day and head up to Bumblebee and Crown King. When it gets too hot in the summer, head up the Beeline highway and check out Rim country and the Mogollon Rim. The run out through Globe and Miami up to Show Low is also amazingly scenic. Most people associate AZ with the blast furnace that is Phoenix in the summer, but it is one of the most mountainous states in the country.Awesome, thanks Kyle! I can't resist a good Mexican joint. Glad to be here.
And bought a crock pot?! Where's your man card? Hand it over!I rode to the beer store. View attachment 74567
Ya, not a good scene! Wifey needed a new crock pot so that was my excuse for a ride, case of beer went under the pot for the short distance from there to home. And bought a crock pot?! Where's your man card? Hand it over!
Don't forget, you can renew your registration on line. Quick, easy, and painless. I haven't been to a tax office in years.back on topic , need to ride and get the bike inspected before the tags run out some time this week. so a future where I took my Tenere to .
