Yup. We don't have anywhere near the history that they do over there.
Its older than Texas.

I can’t recall my exact route and am unable to locate that bridge, however the one I photographed earlier along my route dates at 1785, Cenarth Bridge. My guess is a little earlier for the other bridge.
There’s a bridge in Lincoln, England that dates back to 1160.

Day trip today on the winding roads of southern and eastern Finland. Mainly tarmac roads, but also gravel and the trip was about 400 km. And of course some photos...
ADV bikers caused a traffic jam at the gas station!
Some nice river in the middle of nowhere.
Salpa Line Museum, anti-tank obstacles and T-34 tank.

Also worth noting they were built to connect the Boozers up. So as long as theres enough road to stagger down, job done.

No pictures,but rode about 200 miles up to Huntsville then to Madisonville. All of a sudden weather went from almost 90 to really cool and a light rain. I was right at the intersection of Hwy 30 and Hwy 90 in Roans Prairie and realized I had been on reserve for 36 miles. I guess I was enjoying the ride so much I failed to notice.Fortunately two major stations at that intersection.
Sleep riding. Getting to a destination and not remembering how you got there.

I was in Madisonville last Friday, en route from Kosciukso, MS to home in Driftwood, TX, about 650 miles total. Got back to the Austin area right at rush hour and 96-degree temps.

may 8 9 10 500 miles around harrison AR and ozarks.
Mat 12 stopped in Red Hollow to ride with the advrider crowd but the copperhead I almost stepped in along with wanting to ride woods and not gravel made me continue on to FL
May 13-19 about 700 miles around Rockledge FL (home base) down to West Palm. Even stopped by Uncle Donnies in Mar Lago and waved. Wasn't keen on S10 but it is becoming a reliable friend. Like that fat cheerleader that performs well and keeps secrets from you regular girlfriend!
If only it had a seat that wasn't an instrument of torture.
