I'm surprised they call that model a "CB" , I always remembered it as a "CL".The very first motorcycle I actually owned was a 1966 Honda CB160, the previous owner had repainted it red so I’m not sure what color it was when new. I did eventually have to have the engine overhauled but for all the crazy crap I put it through it was very reliable. Yes mine had the high scrambler pipes like the one in this picture.
Number 3 was a Yamaha 650 that I bought brandnew and it was extremely Reliable, one of my brothers still owns it.
Number 4 was a 1000 Kawasaki LTD , had lots of fun with it , it had a positive neutral finder meaning that if the bike wasn’t rolling you couldn’t shift past neutral and I loved that feature.
Number 5 was a brandnew Honda V65 another very reliable bike that I put 50,000 trouble free miles on.
The next 5 bikes were all six cylinder Honda Goldwings and I have put about 800,000 miles on those things with very few problems except for killing 5 deer.
My first Tenere was a 2013 that I bought to ride to Prudehoe Bay Alaska, the original plan was to try and sell it after the trip but turned out I enjoyed it more than expected so kept it until 2 years ago when I traded it for a brandnew 2018 Tenere ES mainly because I wanted cruise control, after riding Goldwings for so many years that were equipped with cruise I hated not having it on the Tenere.
