The very first motorcycle I actually owned was a 1966 Honda CB160, the previous owner had repainted it red so I’m not sure what color it was when new. I did eventually have to have the engine overhauled but for all the crazy crap I put it through it was very reliable. Yes mine had the high scrambler pipes like the one in this picture.
My next bike was a 2 stroke twin cylinder Yamaha 350 and it was probably the most troublesome bike I ever owned.
Number 3 was a Yamaha 650 that I bought brandnew and it was extremely Reliable, one of my brothers still owns it.
Number 4 was a 1000 Kawasaki LTD , had lots of fun with it , it had a positive neutral finder meaning that if the bike wasn’t rolling you couldn’t shift past neutral and I loved that feature.
Number 5 was a brandnew Honda V65 another very reliable bike that I put 50,000 trouble free miles on.
The next 5 bikes were all six cylinder Honda Goldwings and I have put about 800,000 miles on those things with very few problems except for killing 5 deer.
My first Tenere was a 2013 that I bought to ride to Prudehoe Bay Alaska, the original plan was to try and sell it after the trip but turned out I enjoyed it more than expected so kept it until 2 years ago when I traded it for a brandnew 2018 Tenere ES mainly because I wanted cruise control, after riding Goldwings for so many years that were equipped with cruise I hated not having it on the Tenere.
I'm surprised they call that model a "CB" , I always remembered it as a "CL".

you might be correct I’m simply not sure and it was so long ago heck it seems like I just don’t remember stuff as well as I used to. , when looking for a picture this is what I found, other than not being red it pretty much looks like the one I owned 50 years ago.

1982 RD 350. I got my first full time job at 17 in the fall of 1981. I put a down payment on this baby and stared at the brochure all winter long!! That was a very fun bike...hard to keep that front wheel on the ground. I added the Shoei fairing but someone stole that one night.

I had a 2nd hand RD250 in maybe 1983. It was a fun bike. I still love the two strokes.

My fist son's bike a 1980 (aprox) Malaguti!! we had to work it out, when we got it at home it did not run, also had clutch missing parts and finally after a couple of monds and spending some time in the shop we were able to making it run, we made a big mistake, we sold it to get another bike and I fill we did a big mistake. But such is life.CIMG0861.JPGCIMG0864.JPGCIMG0865 - copia.JPG

I bought the IT465 as new from a dealer. It had been raced in the Nepean 6hr short circuit race here in Oz. Was way too fast for me. Handled like shit and hard to keep the front wheel on the ground. Was amazing on the straights during enduros. I would be doing 100mph throwing rocks on everyone I passed. Then they would all pass me in the tight stuff.

I'm familiar with the concept. My KTM 520 EXC was the same. I would fly in the straight-aways, after getting through the corner my wife on her 125cc was all caught up.

First a lot of dirtbikes, all Yamaha and one Honda. No pictures.

The very first street bike was a Yamaha drag star (2004ish), no pictures that I can find. Used it to make al lot of miles and get riding experience.

after that my fantastic ‘07 R6 21A80AF3-CFE0-43AC-B4E9-501CC1C5690D.jpeg
Currently the best bike I ever owned, the S10. Riden a lot of different bikes over the years (due to my business and test rides etc). don’t see her going any soon.

So. . . . I'm guessing this thread has transitioned from the first. . . . to the last? And, if they are the last (latest). . . . where are the pictures of the riders/owners?
