Same here up north, same bike, leftover 2021. Managed to put about 400km on it so far. I added a proper thermometer (the bike thermometer is quite inaccurate in cold temperatures), crash bars, did the flat seat mod, tank grips, Puig wind screen deflector, side windscreen deflectors, Kriega fork protectors, Shad bracket for top box. For now only the MIVV exhaust is left to arrive:

"Snow" - a nasty four letter word that I'm hoping is absent from my vocabulary for the next 7 months.
7 months might be pushing it. And no way you're making 8. I was stationed in Kittery in the late '80s. I remember October snow.

Wired in a Fuzeblock, GPS and flood lighting. I put the Fuzeblock just forward of the battery, but not in the tool tray (not shown). I wired the floodlights so they are switched at the key, but not the GPS. What's 'recommended' for the GPS - powered via the key switch or not? 20220402_100046.jpg

I connected my GPS to switched power. With my memory, it’s way too easy to forget to turn it off and end up with a flat battery. The GPS has an internal battery anyway, so you can still use it with the ignition switched off if you want.

I wired my gps to unswitched power. It's nice not to have to power it up after gas/ lunch stops. Just be sure to turn off at the end of the day and no problem.

It’ll let you choose to keep it running on battery power after the external power is cut. You just have to catch it before the count down expires.

If you install a PDM60, this allows you to install other external devices like GPS where it will be electronically fused and it also protects the battery from being discharged.
This allows you to shut off the ignition and the PDM60 will continue to power the device to a preset time that you program it too. Then it will shut down the device.
For example my GPS will stay on for 10min after the ign. is turned off, this is nice because I can pull over to check maps without the annoyance of the engine running and yet walk away from the bike knowing the battery is protected from being discharged because a device is left on.
The PDM60 can run multiple devices, up to 60amps.

Well I suspect that would be many hours if not over night at the very least, a gps doesn't require very much power. I like living on the edge. :p

Actually this is exactly what I do as well, but using a Neutrino Black Box which allows a delayed off, like the PDM60.

This. Think I left it by a big rock. Real pain riding the sandy rocky creek bed out with one peg. Just when I thought I was going to make a drop free Arizona season. Did not see Mak10's McGiver passenger peg solution till I got back. Thought about ordering up some nicer pegs but the $50 OEM solution better fits my cheapness. Since I lost it, I needed the rubber and lean sensor bolt too.

Installed the OEM stock rear plate to give her that flushed sole rider look.
Thanks to a fellow ST rider on this forum.
And removed about 20-30lbs of extra brackets and passenger pegs, and the OEM cases… she thanked me for it by wheeling her up to 3rd gear…
