Fill the trailer with beer problem solved'nuff said?
Seriously, mounting that boat was an experiment that took things a step too far due to cross-winds when passing trucks or seeing the trailer lean in curves.

Okay I'm sold on this. Been thinking of it too since seeing how exposed it is, and how covered in crud it gets after a ride or two. Simple solution and piece of mind! Thanks for postingInstalled a Hepco & Becker rear brake reservoir guard.
Pretty robust piece of metal (I think stainless steel), the fitment is spot on with just 2 bolts and a retaining bracket
but it was a bit fiddly getting the bolts blindly lined up in the bracket. Believe it or not I wanted this more for protecting the rear brake
fluid reservoir from when I ride on the roads in and around the NYC area. The Michelin Anakee Adventures I am currently
running really like to pick-up and chuck rocks, debris, etc., etc..

Omg, this is perfect. I'll swap the kayak for my windsurf kit and be good-to-go!'nuff said?

Following a wet trip yesterday to the Yorkshire Dales...
So this instantly put amazing images in my mind and the desire to travel overseas to ride! The better half spent a year living/working in the UK and regaled me with so many fond stories of travel across GB and scotland that it doesn't take much for me to imagine how great it would be thanks for that!
And that is yours. Could you do both AND ride 2 up?'nuff said?

Haha, Whitby is a great ride out, and wouldn’t it just be a crime not to have a chippy lunch! I also do a lot in the Peak District which again is on the doorstep, Monsall Head, Gridleford station cafe and Yondermans were the pre-pandemic points of interest/ food stops. I had a great run to Mid-Wales at the tail end of the summer last year stopping in Macinlleth before heading back up the coast and then home. The roads were incredible with really low traffic, plenty of twisty fun.North Yorkshire or North Wales. Like you say, just an hour away but great scenery. I like North Wales but the roads are always busy in the tourist hot spots, so North Yorkshire and Lancashire are my usual haunts, with an occasional Whitby fish'n'chips run. Scotland is lovely but just a bit too far for a day out and we're not into camping.

Again, it was a step too far and I'd recommend against it.Omg, this is perfect. I'll swap the kayak for my windsurf kit and be good-to-go!
Wales is certainly a beautiful place, with the added bonus of many superb biking routes. Here’s a few snaps from a late summer 2019 trip.North Yorkshire or North Wales. I went for a test ride at those pressures and the bike was a completely different beast, it did not hesitate as much for leaning on corners, and responded more sharply to my inputs. I guess I've been riding the S10 the wrong way this last 10 months.Too low of pressure on the front. I weigh 270-280 and you need to bump that to 36 to get better life and less cupping. I've been running 36/42 for a long time as I found that to be the sweet spot on larger bikes for me, regarding tire wear. Yes, I know what the manual says. But we're like two up plus compared to the skinny Japanese guy that wrote that.
I start with 36/38 but will bump them up under load or down if on a loose surface. Pulling the trailer or with a load in the boxes I run the rear at closer to 42. If I know I'll be on dirt and gravel for the day I'll go as low as 30/32 on the E07 and with the more street oriented Avon AV54 Trail Riders it makes an even bigger improvement in traction.Hopefully I don’t cause this to turn into a tire pressure thread but I have a question for EricV about the 36/42 pressures. Are those pressures tire specific or just what you run, not tire specific?
