I added some Mitas E07's and some Tourtech goodies as well as my SW Motech tank bag. Plumbed in power. Works slick ! Also some Chinese LED signals.

How hard was it to switch to the led signals?

Looks great. If that's the powered tank bag ring, and you wired it direct to the battery, be aware that at least the older versions would drain the battery if the tank bag was left on the ring, even with nothing plugged in. It has a slow parasitic draw. BTDT, killed a brand new battery. Curious, if that is the EVO ring or the old style. Last I checked they were not selling the EVO powered ring, at least thru Twisted Throttle.

Initial impressions are they aren't as aggressive as I had imagined, look more street biased than advertised 60/40. LOTS of rubber on the rear tire, just over 12/32" according to my tread depth gauge, typical stiff sidewalls and no balance dot.

I won't spoon them on for another month or two. Bought them specifically for a trip to Bella Coola and points north this summer!

Hey, Escapefjrtist, Can you update after you spoon the TKC70 on the rear wheel? I just recently bought the TKC70 and had an auto shop mount it with a machine. Even the machine hunkered down pretty good and the installer had to use a pry bar to help it go on. I considered trying to spoon it on, but quickly realized with my lack of tire experience, that was a losing battle. Not questioning your ability, just commenting on how stiff the tire is! If you can spoon this tire on, then I have a huge respect for your abilities!!!

Don't want to confuse you Texasten...spooning on is my way of saying mounting up. I use a cheapo HF changer with Mojo blocks, Mojo lever and a host of other helpers from NoMar. Mounted [and balanced] probably 150 tires by now. Stiff sidewalls make dis-mounting difficult, I think they actually help with mounting. Whole key is keep forcing the bead in the rim valley and using plenty of lube in the right spots.

Michelin's are a cinch, you can damn near mount those by hand! Dunlop's and 'stones are a bitch, but since I use 'stones on the FJR, I've got the technique figured out for them. Mounted a set of K60s for a local STen buddy and although I heard they were difficult, turned out they were a cinch too. Today's adventure was mounting a Michelin CT on the back of an FJR.

I'll let you know how the TKC70 turns out!

Today I pulled the pin on a pair of carbon fiber side panels (see link). I'm sure someone on this very forum has a set, but at this price it's rude not too ! I was going to colour match the original side panels white but I've gone for the easy option ! I will of course give a review when they turn up ::008::

Want to sell your old ones? I have a right side road rash, prior to the crash bars.

Getting ready for Daytona, swapped it in the corner of the garage for the Stratoliner. Only seams right since I plan to ride the S10 to Star Days in July in Longmont CO. Cannot take a Liner on the mountain forest roads.

Just saw this, must have had the blinkers on first time around. Sorry, but I'm going to keep them tucked away, they'll go back on the bike when I upgrade to the new 2017 model 1400cc supercharged S10...

OK, I can dream right ?

Went for a ride yesterday, I know, not that impressive, but as some may know I had both hips replaced 11 weeks ago and it was the first ride out. The sun was shining, it was 43 degrees, and I felt good. Ok, so only for 30 mins, as I had to be back at home, but it felt great, except pulling on my riding pants, swelling still there, but felt good to sit without pain. Now it's snowing again........... roll on Spring.
